Property & Casualty Underwriter (or Senior) | Montreal Ready to take the next step in your underwriting career with a growing and dynamic P&C team? We are partnering with a well-established and expanding organization looking to add a Property & Casualty Underwriter to their Montreal team. This role can be hired at the Underwriter or Senior Underwriter level, depending on your experience and technical expertise. You’ll inherit a profitable book of business while also playing a key role in driving growth, strengthening broker relationships, and contributing to underwriting strategy across Canada. What you’ll be doing: Manage and grow a profitable P&C portfolio Underwrite new business and renewals within authority levels Build and maintain strong broker relationships Identify and develop new business opportunities Partner across specialty lines to maximize multi-line growth Stay on top of market trends and industry developments Participate in projects and initiatives that support business growth What we’re looking for: 3+ years of P&C underwriting experience Strong knowledge of Property and Casualty (Primary & Exces) Proven ability to build broker relationships and generate new business Experience in Manufacturing and/or Construction is an asset CIP or FCIP (or working towards) is preferred Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach Why consider this role?
