IT Operations Analyst – Position Description Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an IT Operations Analyst to join the Power Bus Way Team in Mississauga, ON. The IT Operations Analyst is responsible for managing and executing the day‑to‑day operational IT systems at our Mississauga site, including activities and technology associated with our warehouse, front office, manufacturing sites, on‑site network contact, and hardware/infrastructure supporting business applications. The role works directly with third‑party vendors to support all outsourced agreements. Responsibilities Maintain daily operational support for IT systems across various Power Busway sites, monitoring performance and leading issue resolution. Act as first line of support for issue resolution. Troubleshoot day‑to‑day issues, identify root causes, and Escalate as necessary. Support operations in identifying process changes, achieving business objectives, and driving efficiency. Coordinate vendor support for equipment repair and reprogram equipment as needed. Maintain supplies and accessories for all on‑site equipment. Create documentation of new processes, testing procedures, specifications, proposals, and training materials. Provide hardware maintenance for printers, laptops, PCs, scanners, tablets, and other devices; maintain an inventory of all devices. Coordinate with third‑party vendors for installation and implementation of IT equipment. Act as project manager for key business initiatives where applicable. Ensure enhancements and modifications are fully tested before implementation. Monitor daily inventory of all devices and their performance; manage transport of IT equipment between sites. Facilitate or participate in business improvement and change sessions (Kaizen workshops). Ensure appropriate documentation for warehouse system management, printer management, project work, or network improvement and change management. Identify functional gaps and determine resolutions or workarounds. Act as on‑site point of contact to assist Help Desk support personnel. Attend regular meetings and adhere to schedules. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least five years of IT experience, including relevant project management experience. Ability to work with and program Windows PC devices and associated equipment (printers, scanners, etc.) used in business application support. Advanced PC networking experience. Hands‑on experience implementing and supporting business application systems (excluding ERP). Experience with system implementation and software licensing management.
