About the RoleAs a Project Electrical Engineer in the Forensics Group, you will support delivering excellent project results and stellar client experience. ResponsibilitiesInvestigate the origin and cause of failures, damages or defects in the electrical fields within industrial, commercial, and residential sites. Analyze the failure of electrical systems, determine the cause of failures, evaluate the quality of construction, or review design or maintenance procedures. Perform field investigations, lead multi‑party examinations, and document damaged property. Research failure modes as needed, prepare recommendations for repair and/or remediation. Prepare reports and letters outlining the origin and cause of the damages to clients. Manage/Work on multi‑disciplinary teams on large and complex assignments. Establish trusted working relationships with clients and interact socially at mixed engagements. QualificationsBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Active Professional Engineer license is required (state of employment preferred). If not licensed, ability to obtain PE within one year is required. 5+ years experience evaluating electrical failures in commercial or industrial settings. Power systems experience (generators, transformers, switchgear, etc.) is a plus. Electro‑mechanical experience is desirable. 25‑30%+ travel.
