WINMAR® is hiring a General Manager to take full operational ownership of an underperforming location and aggressively scale it to market potential. This is not a caretaker or maintenance role. The General Manager is accountable for revenue growth, margin discipline, sales leadership, operational execution, and standards enforcement in a complex, insurer-driven restoration environment. The role operates under a defined 90-day Alignment & Diagnosis Window, followed by full authority to restructure, rebuild, and scale the business. Authority is real. Accountability is non-negotiable. Outcomes matter more than effort. This role exists to execute ownership strategy, not reinterpret it. ABOUT WINMAR SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE The location achieves sustained revenue growth aligned to ownership targets Gross margin, WIP, and AR controls are predictable, disciplined, and visible Sales activity is consistent, insurer relationships are strong, and pipeline health is clear Team standards are enforced consistently; low performers are exited or upgraded The operation can scale without owner intervention due to leadership depth and structure OBJECTIVES Deliver aggressive revenue growth in line with approved multi-year targets Personally lead sales activity and insurer relationship management Establish and maintain accurate pipeline visibility and forecasting Protect gross margin through disciplined estimating, job costing, and controls Reduce aged AR and WIP exposure through tight operational oversight Diagnose operational, leadership, and capability gaps within the first 90 days Execute team restructuring post-alignment window where required Enforce WINMAR® standards consistently, regardless of tenure or relationships Build a reliable leadership bench capable of scaling with growth Ensure compliance with insurer protocols, franchise standards, and governance Maintain financial literacy across all operational decisions Operate transparently with ownership through clear reporting and communication COMPETENCIES Financial literacy and P&L ownership Sales leadership and personal selling capability Decisive leadership under pressure Conflict competence and accountability enforcement Operational discipline and process adherence Strategic execution (not strategy creation) Team assessment and restructuring judgment Resilience in high-scrutiny environments Governance and control compliance EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 7–10+ years progressive leadership experience in construction or restoration Direct P&L responsibility for a business unit or location Proven track record of scaling revenue and leading teams through change Strong understanding of operational controls, estimating, and job costing Insurance restoration experience (residential and commercial) Experience managing complex or high-value projects ($5M–$10M+ annually) Exposure to franchised or multi-location operating models PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer If this position caught your eye, send us your resume!
