Position Summary The Summer Program Workers report to the Executive Director in the absence of the Centre's Program Director. The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of the Centre's summer program activities, assisting the Program Coordinator in overseeing volunteer work and setting up programs for children. 8-10 WEEKS 35-40 HOURS PER WEEK Job Requirements The ability to plan and organize work without supervision is necessary Hours of work must be flexible; evenings and weekends may be required Must have demonstrated skills in supervision Should have demonstrated skills in working as a team member Valid driver's license is necessary Knowledge of a First Nation language would be an asset Must have good leadership skills Good communication skills Ability to work with children Meal planning and cleaning is required Qualifications Must be going back to school in the fall Must be able to obtain a clean CPIC Must be of METIS Ancestry Must have a valid driver's license with clean abstract #J-18808-Ljbffr
