Position Summary Senior‑level strategic leadership and oversight for all Kardium manufacturing sites. Hybrid work arrangement located in Burnaby, BC. Key Responsibilities Direct and mentor the team of Plant or Senior Manufacturing Managers for all Kardium manufacturing sites and provide coaching to improve operational excellence. Develop long‑range operating plans and strategies to achieve Kardium’s production growth and commercialization goals. Build a collaborative, high‑performance culture across all sites, focusing on employee engagement and retention, succession planning, and workforce development. Ensure workforce training programs are standardized to deliver quality and consistency across all manufacturing operations. Budgetary responsibility and oversight for manufacturing operations workforce. Drive continuous improvement programs and use of methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, etc.) across all manufacturing sites to improve productivity and manufacturing stability. Work closely with Planning, Supply Chain and Inventory and Logistics to optimize scheduling, manufacturing efficiency and inventory levels. Set and monitor key performance indicators (OEE, Utilization, Variance Analysis) to evaluate site performance and implement corrective actions. Champion and drive a safety‑first culture, and ensure compliance with all local environment, health and safety regulations. Qualifications Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related technical field. Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior manufacturing or operations leadership role. Proven experience scaling manufacturing from low to high commercial volumes. Demonstrated success implementing continuous improvement and operational scaling strategies. Previous experience in ISO13485 or AS9100 regulated industries is strongly preferred. Experience managing a cleanroom manufacturing environment is an asset. Experience developing workforce training and capability programs for production teams. Excellent analytic, strategic thinking, and operational planning skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Adept at building strong, collaborative relationships at all levels.
