Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with Senior Manager, People and Culture Operations and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and define job requirements. Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies using a variety of channels. Build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future needs. Manage the full life cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing and negotiating offers. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS. Coordinate and participate in career fairs, co‑op recruitment and other networking events. Ensure candidate experience is positive from application to decision, maintaining consistent communication and timely feedback. Monitor and report on key KPIs to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement by using a data‑driven approach to deliver best practices and optimize. Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and employer branding. Must Haves 3+ years of full cycle recruitment experience in a high volume, fast‑paced environment. Proven track record hiring for union and non‑union roles specifically within the construction or skilled trades industry. Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and provide strategic talent acquisition guidance. Strong understanding of employment legislation and collective agreements relevant to construction. Evidence of success in building talent pipelines for hard to fill roles. Nice to haves UKG or similar ATS experience. Experience with diverse recruitment strategies. Familiar with workforce planning and high‑volume recruitment projects. Proficiency in LinkedIn recruiter and Boolean search techniques. Experience in market mapping the industry.
