Facility Services 37.5 hours weekly 1 year term contract: June 22, 2026 to June 25, 2027 The Facility Asset Manager oversees the Division’s facility asset management and preventative maintenance programs across multiple school and administrative sites. The role supports asset lifecycle planning, maintenance system administration, operational analysis, and preventative maintenance coordination to improve facility reliability, extend asset life, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize maintenance operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs for Division facilities and building systems. Coordinate maintenance activities with staff, contractors, and operational teams. Maintain facility asset inventories, condition assessments, and lifecycle planning documentation. Administer the Division’s CMMS/AssetPlanner system, including reporting and maintenance scheduling. Support deferred maintenance planning, budgeting, and operational reporting. Ensure compliance with applicable safety, building, and environmental regulations. Identify opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency, asset reliability, and facility operations. Desirable Qualifications And Skills Diploma or degree in Facility Management, Building Systems, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Asset Management, or related field. Combination of education and directly related experience may be considered. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in facility operations, maintenance planning, asset management, or related environments preferred. Experience working within institutional, municipal, educational, or public‑sector facilities environments is considered an asset. Strong knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance, and asset lifecycle management. Experience with CMMS or maintenance management software. Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office and asset management systems. Valid Alberta driver’s license required.
