Role: SAP EHS Consultant Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12+ months Location: Remote (Toronto, ON) Rate: $90/hr - $110/hr CAD (Depending on Experience) Role Overview We are looking for a highly technical SAP EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Consultant to join a major S/4HANA transformation . As we transition into the Build Phase, you will be responsible for converting high-level design documents into a fully functional, integrated, and validated EHS ecosystem. This role demands a "hands‑on" configuration expert who can bridge the gap between functional design and technical deployment. Core Responsibilities 1. Technical Configuration & Solution Build End-to-End Build: Translate Fit‑Gap requirements and Functional Specifications into production‑ready configurations within S/4HANA. Module Specialization: Lead the build for: Incident Management: Customizing workflows, incident types, and regulatory reporting. Risk Assessment (RA/JSA): Developing risk matrices, hazard catalogs, and approval hierarchies. Management of Change (MOC): Configuring change types and deep integration with Risk Assessment. Audit Management: Building frameworks for audit planning, execution, and corrective actions. 2. WRICEF & Technical Collaboration Functional Design: Author detailed functional designs for WRICEF objects (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms). Cross‑Team Alignment: Partner with ABAP developers and BTP (Business Technology Platform) teams to validate that technical designs meet performance and maintainability standards. Enterprise Connectivity: Build and validate mission‑critical integrations with: Plant Maintenance (PM): Linking incidents and risks to functional locations and assets. HR/Business Partner: Managing organizational data and personnel roles. Materials Management (MM): Synchronizing hazardous substance and chemical data. Dependency Management: Conduct mapping workshops to ensure seamless data flow between EHS and core ERP modules. Data Readiness: Define mapping rules and transformation logic for EHS data objects, supporting migration teams in loading legacy data into S/4HANA templates. Quality Assurance: Develop comprehensive test scripts for Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT , ensuring 100% traceability from business requirements to final configuration. Required Qualifications Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of SAP EHS experience, with at least one full‑cycle S/4HANA implementation specifically in the Build/Configuration phase. Technical Depth: Expert‑level configuration knowledge in Incident Management, RA/JSA, MOC, and Audit Management. Integration Expertise: Proven track record of integrating EHS with SAP PM, HR (SuccessFactors/HCM), and MM .
