You will build predictive models, uncover hidden behaviors, and optimize marketing campaigns using advanced statistics and machine learning. What You’ll Do Advanced Forecasting & Modeling: Build robust forecasting models across streaming, audience growth, and commercial performance; support deal risk, merchandise, and demand planning. Audience Insights & Analytics: Gather and analyze audience data, establish best practices, detect anomalies, and surface actionable insights from large‑scale streaming and engagement data. Hypothesis Testing & Storytelling: Transform complex data into compelling stories through tailored presentations; develop hypothesis testing frameworks and decision‑making tools for real‑time audience analysis. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with local affiliates, labels, international teams, Global Technology, merchandising teams, and business stakeholders to deliver critical reporting and inference. Data Engineering Integration: Work with data engineering teams to identify, define, and secure the data needed for modeling. Who You Are Education: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Experience: 2–6 years of professional data science, analytics, or related work. Technical Stack: 2–6 years with R, Python, and SQL. Forecasting: 2+ years building forecasting models across streaming, audience growth, and commercial performance. Marketing & Audience Models: 2+ years using advertising data to build marketing mix models. Targeting & Behavior: 2+ years building targeting models, including propensity scoring and look‑alike modeling. Production ML: 2+ years deploying machine learning models in production. Stakeholder Collaboration: Proven ability to bridge technical complexity and business logic, empowering non‑technical teams. Data Visualization: 2+ years communicating complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders with visualization tools such as matplotlib or ggplot2. Compensation Base salary: $95,000–$140,000 CAD (level dependent). Eligible for performance‑based annual bonus.
