Overview Job title: Senior Leader, Operations - Challenger Programs - Pre-flight & Deliveries Primary Location: Dorval Plant 3 Organization: Aerospace Canada Shift: Day job Employee Status: Regular Requisition: 12469 Senior Leader, Operations - Challenger Programs - Pre-flight & Deliveries Responsibilities Work on the day shift, Monday to Friday. Develop manufacturing strategies and support their implementation. Conduct in-depth analyses to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement. Generate detailed plans aligned with master schedules, ensuring communication, tracking, and progress follow-up. Develop and implement robust and efficient operational processes. Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and director-level operational dashboards. Identify major operational issues and propose effective action plans. Demonstrate leadership in resolving complex problems. Act as a high-level liaison between various operations groups during escalations. Coordinate activities with internal teams, partners, external suppliers, and/or customers. Support cost control and financial performance monitoring. Develop and coach leaders on management competencies. Provide indirect supervision during absences or replacements. Promote a work environment based on teamwork and open communication. Qualifications You hold a college or university degree in aeronautics, engineering, operations management or a related field. You have a minimum of 12 years of experience at Bombardier or equivalent. You have at least five (5) years of supervisory experience in a unionized manufacturing environment. You demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills to achieve results. You show managerial courage when leading personnel. You are available, flexible, and motivated by a dynamic and evolving environment. You have excellent communication and leadership skills.
