Content Marketing and SEO Manager As a Content Marketing and SEO Manager, you will be responsible for the conception, execution, and optimization of content‑led SEO initiatives across our digital platforms AutoTrader.ca and AutoHebdo.net. With a strong focus on customer‑centric, high‑quality content, you will support the overall SEO strategy and collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners to drive organic traffic growth, engagement, and conversions. What you'll do Own the creation, updating, and quality assurance of automotive advice content and SEO‑focused product pages by developing a deep understanding of customer needs, search intent, and user journeys. Brief, manage, and collaborate with external content agencies and freelance partners to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality, SEO‑optimized content aligned with quality standards. Apply a data‑driven approach to topic research, content ideation, and optimization to improve engagement and performance. Leverage AI‑driven content creation and optimization techniques to improve discoverability and visibility across LLMs and AI‑powered platforms, ensuring content is structured, authoritative, and aligned with emerging search and AI consumption patterns. Identify SEO/AI opportunities and conduct research for new and existing content using advanced software such as Semrush, SISTRIX, Ahrefs, Ryte, and similar platforms. Collaborate with international stakeholders within the AutoScout24 Group to align content initiatives across markets. Monitor trends in automotive, mobility, and car‑related topics and translate insights into relevant, high‑impact content. Actively contribute to and collaborate within a global content and SEO network, sharing learnings, standards, and best practices across international markets. What you'll need Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in SEO, content marketing, or an online editorial environment; exposure to AI‑driven content or optimization tools is considered an asset. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong knowledge of current SEO/AEO best practices and content optimization methodologies. Experience with SEO/AEO and web analytics tools such as Screaming Frog, SISTRIX, Google Analytics, or comparable platforms. Familiarity with HTML and modern content management systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail. High motivation to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced digital environment. Genuine interest in cars, mobility, and automotive industry trends; prior knowledge considered a plus. Language Skills Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
