Job Description A Training Regional Manager is an experienced restaurant and bar operator/General Manager with excellent communication skills and a dynamic, hardworking leadership style. They bring fresh ideas, are detailed and caring, and are deeply committed to sharing knowledge with teams. They develop future GMs and chefs, travel across cities within the region after training, and report to the Director of Operations in Ontario. The overall purpose is to drive sales, build guest count, generate industry‑leading revenue, profit, expansion, and guest service goals by planning, leading, and directing corporate & franchise restaurants in the region. Offer Competitive Compensation: General Manager base salary ranging from $90,000 to $95,000. Salary changes upon promotion to Regional Manager. Bonus & Incentives: Quarterly bonus based on store performance and individual contributions, up to $24,000 per year. Upon promotion, car allowance, cell phone, and laptop are included. Key Responsibilities Create and enhance a restaurant culture that drives excellence in hospitality, revenue, service quality, morale, and profit management. Establish, direct, and review beverage procedures to ensure security, accountability, quality, presentation, and service performance. Recruit, train, develop, and mentor GMs and chefs. Handle disciplinary action and performance management in collaboration with Human Resources. Conduct frequent site reviews and audits of restaurants to maintain excellence. Oversee management and crew development, providing training and guidance. Prepare all local financial and operational reports, analyze results, and review variances against budgets. Manage the company’s business success foundation – “The Triangle” – focusing on long‑term profitability, shareholder value, and team member care. Monitor legal or labor issues related to all properties. Contribute to long‑term planning and brand positioning. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations. Project‑manage multiple programs and priorities across departments. Communicate and execute details to align all food‑related activities. Coach management teams on restaurant execution. Qualifications & Experience Experience as a Regional Manager of operations within a full‑service upscale casual dining concept. Minimum 4 years as a successful restaurant General Manager with proven financial management in a high‑volume full‑service restaurant (preferably premium casual). Proficiency in analytical costing, cost control, spreadsheets, and recipe preparation. Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, KDS, POSi Touch Point‑of‑Sale systems. Exceptional work ethic, strong verbal and written communication skills. Effective time management and productivity. Initiative and ability to multitask. Strong communication, rapport, and presentation skills. Willingness to travel extensively within the region and Canada; valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
