Sales Manager, Food Ingredients Details Competitive Salary: up to $150,000 (depending on experience) Vacation: Paid time off Develop and execute sales strategies across North America aligned with corporate growth objectives Identify new markets, customer segments, and product opportunities to drive profitable revenue growth Own national forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking against targets Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers and strategic partners Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and long-term commercial agreements Act as the senior escalation point for key customer issues and commercial risk management Lead, coach, and develop regional sales leaders and teams across multiple markets Establish KPIs, performance metrics, and accountability structures across the sales organization Foster a high-performance, results-driven culture with strong cross-regional collaboration Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and R&D to align sales commitments with production capacity and service levels Partner with Marketing and Product teams on go-to-market strategies and product innovation Provide market intelligence and customer insights to support business decisions and growth initiatives Ensure compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and ethical business practices Manage commercial risk including contracts, pricing governance, and customer concentration Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience within food manufacturing, food ingredients, or FMCG environments (sugar, coffee, or commodities strongly preferred) Proven experience managing multi-region sales operations across North America Strong leadership experience in complex, matrixed organizations Demonstrated success in pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and margin management Advanced commercial acumen with the ability to drive growth and profitability Strong communication and relationship-building skills at the executive level Highly organized, strategic thinker with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment Preferred MBA or advanced business qualification Experience working with retail, foodservice, or industrial customer segments Exposure to export-driven, or family-owned manufacturing environments #J-18808-Ljbffr
