We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Quality Assurance Co‑op student to join our team. This role provides hands‑on experience in software testing, quality assurance processes, and collaboration within a fast‑paced technology environment. The successful candidate will support testing activities to help ensure high‑quality applications and user experiences. Work Term Details Work term length: 4 months Work term start: September 2026 Application deadline: May 25th, 2026 Compensation A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18–32 per hour. Responsibilities Assist in testing software applications, systems, and platforms to ensure quality and functionality. Execute manual and/or automated test cases and document results accurately. Identify, track, and report bugs, defects, and inconsistencies to the development team. Support regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing activities. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to understand requirements and expected outcomes. Help maintain test documentation, test plans, and testing procedures. Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for reported issues. Ensure applications meet quality standards, performance expectations, and user requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to QA processes and testing practices. Assist with validating fixes and retesting resolved defects. Qualifications Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts. Familiarity with testing tools, defect tracking systems, or scripting/programming languages is considered an asset. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Eagerness to learn new technologies, tools, and processes.
