The Client Delivery team within Global Wealth Management Technology is seeking a Technical Business Lead Analyst responsible for requirements and documentation of user stories while modernizing strategic applications. The role involves delivering a modern suite of applications for one wealth business line, replacing a legacy system with a modern user interface, workflows, and APIs integrating with multiple internal and external applications. Responsibilities Assist the team in resolving highly complex, multi‑faceted problems, applying financial and technological knowledge to design methodologies, models, and systems solutions. Conduct research and analysis, clearly defining user requirements and processes, and liaising with users. Work closely with the product owner to iron out user stories and maintain a healthy backlog for prioritization. Participate in the systems implementation process by developing test cases, performing testing, defining user procedures and workflows, developing conversion and implementation strategies, verifying conversion, providing user documentation, training, and post‑implementation support. Provide business support to Operations and Compliance, including ad‑hoc queries, user training, and assisting with the design and implementation of system enhancements. Actively communicate with management and update on escalated cases or issues. Continuously acquire and enhance knowledge of business strategies, policies, risk management practices, product offerings, financial markets and instruments, regulatory requirements, and rapidly changing technology to provide effective business solutions and services to end‑user groups. Qualifications Experience handling application requirements using APIs, batch processes, and reporting servers. Creative, self‑starting, results‑oriented, and highly motivated with strong analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with end users and project team members, using diplomacy and judgement to secure agreement and cooperation. Well‑versed in current IT practices, systems development techniques, requirements specification and testing methodologies, real‑time analytical and formal modelling tools, and keeping current with technology changes. Recognized undergraduate degree in business, mathematics, computer science, or related discipline. Strong viewpoint to assess the impact of development and/or changes to the overall data processing environment. Prior experience in wealth and/or lending products. Knowledge of various financial product offerings in the Canadian lending market. Customer‑first mindset while providing technology solutions to business problems. Working knowledge of Agile development skills. Advanced Excel skills. Solid knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, JIRA, and Confluence.
