Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. Experience Equivalent of education and experience may be considered Education Addictions Counselling diploma Licenses Valid Class 5 driver’s license Competencies Advanced problem solving skills Knowledge & Abilities Knowledge of addictions interventions involving drugs, alcohol or tobacco Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Knowledge in co‑current disorders and issues related to gambling addictions Knowledge in holistic addictions treatment model Knowledge in group dynamics Demonstrate knowledge in addiction(s) and their effects on the individual.
