About your next Challenge as a CF188 Life Support Equipment and Systems Technician Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the CF188 Life Support Systems and Equipment Technician is responsible to perform on and off aircraft Aircraft Life Support Systems and Equipment (LSS & ALSE) maintenance activities in support of First and Second line maintenance Units. What will you do Perform work on aircraft life support systems and equipment (on and off aircraft) in accordance with CFTO, technical drawings, work instructions and other applicable technical references; Maintain necessary ALSE-related test and support equipment; Keep current with current and new technologies (hardware / software); Conduct maintenance activities on related systems, such as:Aircraft Life Support Equipment; Aircraft Life Support Systems; Liquid Oxygen (LOX) System; Oxygen Storage; Oxygen Purging; Fire Extinguishing System; Ejection System; Windshield and Canopy System. Provide Hands-on support to Military and L3 Harris technicians and Units as required; Report any un-airworthy conditions discovered; Work in close collaboration with military personnel; and Carry out duties as directed by the Site Manager and L3Harris Required Skills and Experiences Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; Preferred Additional Skills: Knowledge of DMS; Knowledge of SAP; Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Endorsement on CF188 (asset); and Experience in LOX storage and replenishment. Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory) Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program; Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
