Job Description We’re hiring an Employment & Litigation Lawyer to represent the organization in employment and litigation matters across Alberta and British Columbia. You will be expected to take a decisive, results-oriented approach in protecting the business and driving matters to resolution.This is not a passive advisory role. We’re looking for someone who can confidently advance positions, move matters forward, and drive timely outcomes. This role supports the organization in managing employment matters responsibly and effectively, including litigation where required.What You’ll DoManage employment litigation files from pleadings through resolution in both Alberta and British ColumbiaRepresent the organization across all levels of court and applicable tribunals in Alberta and British ColumbiaDraft pleadings, affidavits, briefs, and settlement materialsParticipate in alternate dispute resolution (ADR)Support proactive risk mitigation and policy development across both provincesContribute to proactive employment practices and help the business navigate issues before they eruptWhat You BringCalled to the Bar in either British Columbia or Alberta (active, in good standing)1–4 years of employment and or more generally, litigation experience in both provincesProven ability to take a confident, results-driven approach in litigationExperience appearing before courts and/or tribunalsAbility to independently manage files across jurisdictionsStrong ethics, advocacy, negotiation, and written skillsHigh ownership, urgency, and comfort operating in a fast-paced environmentThis role is best suited for someone who enjoys oral advocacy and active litigation workYou will be expected to take ownership of files, advance positions, and drive matters forwardThe environment is direct and fast-moving, with less hierarchy than a traditional law firmWhy Join UsNo billable or time keeping requirementsMeaningful, hands‑on litigation experience from day one, with early responsibility across a broad range of filesLegal operates as a business partner, working closely with leadership to support fair and practical outcomesDirect exposure to senior leadership and decision‑makingOpportunity to build cross-jurisdictional experience quicklyCompetitive compensation and benefits (including coverage of professional fees)Long‑term growth within a large, multi‑entity organizationIf this interests you, please submit your resume highlighting your Alberta and BC Litigation experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
