BrokerLink is seeking an Account Executive to work out of our Parry Sound office in Central Ontario on a permanent full‑time basis. The role is focused on selling commercial insurance policies and building lasting customer relationships. Paid Time Off: personal days, volunteer days, exam/study time, jury duty and starting at three weeks of vacation per year Recognition as one of Canada’s best employers (Kincentric 2024) What The Role Entails Sell commercial insurance policies Develop and maintain a prospect list Build and maintain excellent customer relationships, including visiting customer sites Keep abreast of market knowledge, products, and pricing issues and opportunities Prepare proposals and arrange for account placement with the insurance carriers Gather and document relevant information to ensure the customer receives the appropriate coverage and service Maintain good quality in the book of business by adhering to underwriting rules and good business practices Arrange payment terms for new business sales and timely collection of paymentss Support customers with the claims process Travel within and outside the region as required The Successful Candidate Will Have Post‑secondary education or equivalent Excellent customer service and sales skills Excellent communication skills; ability to coach support staff Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, under pressure and deadlines Ability to work independently/entrepreneurially, as well as in a team environment Excellent organizational and time‑management skills; multitasking 5–7+ years of industry, sales and customer service experience Commitment to continual learning: CIP, CAIB designation or working towards completion BrokerLink is committed to providing an accessible environment.
