Who you are: Geotab is seeking aCorporate Development Analystwho will support Geotab’s M&A and corporate strategic initiatives by identifying and evaluating acquisition targets, managing deal flow, and executing transactions.What you’ll do: As aCorporate Development Analystyour key area of responsibility will be to develop and maintain relationships with investment banks and strategic corporate partners, perform financial analysis and modelling to inform transaction decisions, manage corporate reporting and Investment Committee materials, and support post‑transaction integration efforts across cross‑functional teams.How you’ll make an impact:Analyze industry trends, Geotab’s competitive strengths, and strategic opportunities to identify potential M&A and corporate strategic targets.Maintain and develop relationships with investment banks, boutique M&A advisory firms, and strategic corporate partners to facilitate deal flow.Evaluate potential acquisition targets and strategic partnerships for strategic fit, financial viability, and alignment with Geotab’s growth objectives.Participate on deal execution teams, taking responsibility for assigned components of M&A and corporate strategic transactions as directed by the CCDO.Assist or lead corporate strategic transactions and interface with Geotab functions as required to successfully execute.Develop financial models, valuations, and analysis to inform transaction decision‑making and support due diligence processes.Fulfill corporate reporting requirements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including providing the CCDO with appropriate materials for the Investment Committee.Provide inputs to bi‑weekly Geotab Investment Committee (GIC) meetings.Manage and prioritize meetings, including documentation and actioning next steps.Maintain a comprehensive database of contacts, companies, and meeting notes.Support Geotab operating functions such as Legal, Human Resources, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and others to onboard and successfully integrate acquired entities.Leverage cross‑functional teams to achieve desired strategic benefits from corporate partnerships and transactions.What you’ll bring to the role:3–5 years of required previous experience in investment banking, venture capital, or private equity and financial modeling, valuation, and transaction execution.Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills with the ability to develop complex transaction analyses.Knowledge of M&A processes, deal structuring, due diligence, and corporate strategic partnerships.Excellent relationship‑building skills with the ability to develop and maintain networks with investment banks, advisors, and corporate partners.Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to prepare materials for executive leadership and Investment Committee audiences.Proficiency in financial analysis tools (Excel/Google Sheets) and presentation software (PowerPoint/Google Slides).Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain databases, and track action items.Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams including Legal, Finance, HR, Engineering, and Supply Chain.High attention to detail with strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking capabilities.Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage confidential information with discretion.Why job seekers choose Geotab:Flex working arrangementsHome office reimbursement programBaby bonus & parental leave top‑up programOnline learning and networking opportunitiesElectric vehicle purchase incentive programCompetitive medical and dental benefitsRetirement savings programHow we work: At Geotab, we have adopted a flexible hybrid working model that supports both in‑person and virtual work.
