Alida is looking for a hands‑on HR Manager to help shape and run a modern, technology‑enabled HR function. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in building efficient systems, leans into automation, and manages a small team of a Payroll/Benefits specialist and a Recruiter. You’ll own day‑to‑day people operations while streamlining a scalable, AI‑powered approach. What You’ll Own And/or Support HR Administration across the employee lifecycle Onboarding Offboarding Payroll Benefits Compliance AI Technologies AI Enablement Optimization and management of HR systems that align and support Alida’s agentic objectives Designing and/or implementing automated workflows to reduce manual work Acting as the primary point of contact for employee support and HR operations Supporting hiring coordination and foundational talent processes, adjusting to workforce and business needs as the company evolves Managing vendor relationships across HR, payroll, and benefits Ensuring compliance with all necessary employment standards across Canada, US, EMEA, and the Philippines What Makes This Role Different Reporting into Finance, you will lead a lean, high‑impact HR function that uses modern AI‑based tools and automation instead of traditional HR processes.
