Job Summary As the lead commissioning consultant, you will deliver projects that exceed clients’ expectations with a holistic understanding of multi‑discipline sustainable design issues. You will manage junior staff on larger projects and may be required to present to clients and support firm promotion. Responsibilities Deliver presentations to promote the firm. Chair and lead project meetings. Lead projects as assigned by the Team Leader. Conduct design reviews of MEP documents. Prepare commissioning plans, specifications, and network diagrams. Conduct reviews of MEP submittals. Prepare pre‑functional checklists and perform functional performance testing. Manage the commissioning process on behalf of the client. Manage project cost and seek additional funds if scope of work increases. Develop systems manuals. Review O&M documents and various reports. Mentor junior staff. Qualifications & Attributes 5+ years of experience in commissioning. Excellent computer skills and project management skills. Engineering degree or diploma. LEED AP desirable. BCA, ASHRAE, NEBB or AABC certification desirable. Building design experience in building controls, M&E systems an advantage (mechanical experience is a must). Licensed professional engineer, chartered engineer, or CET – registered or eligible for registration highly desirable. High level of knowledge and expertise in commissioning. High level of technical proficiency in testing adjusting & balancing. High level of technical proficiency in controls engineering. High level of technical proficiency in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Team player with leadership potential. Additional Information Introba is committed to pay equity. The base compensation range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000 annually. Introba offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
