Position Overview The PMO Manager will lead the Multi‑Tenant Project Management Office (MTPMO) and serve as the primary liaison to the Customer PMO. This role is responsible for overseeing project portfolio management, ensuring adherence to project governance standards, and providing strategic guidance across programs and projects. The PMO Manager will drive consistency, quality, and transparency across all project delivery activities, while partnering closely with internal project managers, cross‑functional teams, and customer stakeholders. This individual will own the monthly portfolio reporting cycle, support annual planning, and ensure effective communication and collaboration between all tenant PMOs. The role requires a highly experienced program/project management professional with strong leadership, communication, and analytical capabilities. Key Responsibilities PMO Leadership & Operations Lead and manage the Multi‑Tenant PMO (MTPMO), overseeing day‑to‑day operations. Manage Compugen PMO staff (Project Managers and supporting roles). Ensure quality monitoring, enforcement of standards, and adherence to project management methodologies. Oversee project documentation, scheduling, estimating, and risk management practices. Develop PMO competencies, including mentoring and training of project managers. Lead the development and finalization of Statements of Work for projects and engagements. Portfolio & Program Oversight Own and deliver the bi‑weekly Portfolio Summary Report, capturing scope, schedule, cost, resources, risks, and cross‑project dependencies. Coordinate plans across multiple projects, monitoring resource allocation and interdependencies. Conduct project health checks with the customer and the Compugen management team, post‑project reviews, and performance evaluations of project managers. Intake of new projects from the customer and tracking their lifecycle from development through closure. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary point of contact between Compugen project teams and Customer PMO organizations. Maintain strong relationships with Compugen and Customer stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate escalations, communication, and resolution of issues impacting project delivery. Provide advice and recommendations to senior management on portfolio impacts, proposed changes, and strategic priorities. Governance & Reporting Ensure transparent, consistent reporting on project and program performance. Participate in planning, steering committees, and other governance forums. Manage contract and portfolio program change control processes. Provide input into annual planning and portfolio strategy in collaboration with the Customer. Financial & Resource Management Support financial management of programs and projects, providing forecasting and variance insights. Oversee subcontractor management for Compugen‑led programs and projects. Monitor resource demands, forecast needs, and assess impact of changes across programs. Skills & Qualifications Technical & Professional Competencies PMI‑certified (PMP/PMI‑ACP) with hands‑on experience applying PMI best practices in project execution, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. Extensive experience in program and project management within a PMO environment. Strong understanding of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) practices. Expertise in project planning, scheduling, estimating, and risk management. Solid understanding of governance frameworks, methodologies, and delivery processes. Experience managing cross‑project dependencies and multi‑tenant project environments. Proficient in Excel for budgeting, reporting, analysis, and project tracking. Knowledge of billing processes and financial tracking related to projects. Knowledge of the following programs – End user computing, Unified Communications, Server & Storage, Networking, Cybersecurity. Leadership & Management Skills Demonstrated ability to lead PMO teams and guide project managers. Strong capability in performance management, mentoring, and developing project delivery talent. Proven ability to manage escalations, resolve issues, and ensure delivery quality. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build and sustain effective relationships with customers, executives, and cross‑functional teams. Skilled at presenting complex project and portfolio information to senior leadership. Ability to analyze impacts of project and program changes across portfolio. Competence in forecasting, portfolio reporting, and financial oversight. Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, especially in ambiguous or multi‑project environments.
