What You’ll Do: Model our core value of safety by leading and enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment Partner with Senior Manager, Category Management, Engineered & Electrical Equipment (EEE), Category Managers within the EEE category, and stakeholders to develop and manage category strategies for diverse subcategories Develop category / spend analytics and market insights tailored to deliver both global category and site level insights Create and manage strategic plans by subcategory, including strategic supplier management Review with Operations counterparts and Category Manager s the activity planning and impact on contractual plans, category strategies and budgets within specific sub-category category Support the sourcing tactical plans for sub-catagory including preparing for and launching best in class tenders, preparing forand conducting negotiations , execution of RFPs and contracts reviews Develop and execute category contracts, contract implementation plans and roll out to drive tangible business results Develop new suppliers as appropriate and facilitate contracting within the sub-category Work with Category Manager and operations stakeholders to nest sub-category strategy within broader category strategy What You’ll Bring: Undergraduate degree in business, engineering or related matters required preferably with master's degree 5+ years of professional e xperience in contract formation and management at the corporate level . P rocurement experience in industrial, corporate and project environments . Direct experience establishing and executing complex sourcing process from end-to-end Experience working as an analyst, and preferably within category management in operations of similar complexity (i.e., multi-country, multi-region and/or multi-operations organizations) Excellent relationship building skills to cultivate partnership with internal and external stakeholders Experience with project, plan, and budget oversight Desire for experience leading organizational change and transformation processes Nutrien is an equal opportunity employer.
