In this role, you’ll work closely with Project Managers, site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to help keep projects organized, on schedule, and running smoothly.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in commercial construction while learning from experienced industry professionals in a collaborative and growth-focused environment.What You’ll Be DoingProvide administrative and document control support to Project Managers and field teams throughout all phases of project deliveryMaintain project documentation systems, including directories, tracking logs, registers, and electronic filing platformsCoordinate the distribution and management of drawings, specifications, contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, and change-related documentationAssist with procurement and purchasing activities, including vendor coordination, submittal tracking, and scope agreement administrationSupport estimating and pre-construction functions through quantity takeoffs, budgeting assistance, and preparation of change ordersReview project drawings and specifications to support construction planning, coordination, and execution activitiesAssist in maintaining project schedules, processing permit applications, and coordinating utility and municipal requirementsSupport project financial administration, including invoicing, progress billing, forecasting, budget monitoring, and cost control trackingParticipate in project meetings by preparing agendas, recording meeting minutes, and tracking follow‑up action itemsContribute to project closeout activities, including the compilation of O&M manuals, warranties, and as‑built documentationDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholdersDemonstrate and uphold company core values, including Safety, Integrity, Continuous Improvement, Collaboration, and AccountabilityWhat You Must HavePost‑secondary education in Construction Engineering Technology (CET), Engineering, Construction Administration, or a related discipline preferredPrevious experience in the construction industry, either in the field or office, is considered an assetStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel; experience with Viewpoint or MS Project is an assetExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and efficientlyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environmentUnderstanding of construction contracts, documentation, and project administration processesSafety‑focused mindset with WHMIS and CSTS certifications requiredValid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as neededWhy Join the Team You’ll join a supportive, energetic, and growth‑oriented company that values your contributions and invests in your professional development.
