We are looking for a Presales Engineer who is accustomed to solving customers’ most complex problems and collaborating with sales to close large deals. In this role you will work directly with the sales team and channel partners to understand the needs of our customers, strategize on how to navigate winning sales cycles, provide compelling value-based demonstrations, support enterprise Proof of Concepts, andultimately closebusiness. Success in this role means bridging sales and delivery by enabling deal closure through technicalexpertise, customer engagement, and solution design. The Presales Solution Engineer ensures solutions arefeasible, valuable, and executable, creating clarity for both the client and the delivery team while actively contributing to project execution tomaintaincontinuity and delivery success. Success in this role will look like: Partner with Sales and Solution Architects to ensure proposed solutions align with customer needs and our delivery capabilities Lead discovery conversations to uncover business goals, technical constraints, and success criteria Engage directly with prospects to build trust through domainexpertise, consultative guidance, and storytelling from past customer, industry, and project experience Articulate and match our offerings to customer needs, recommendingaappropriate solutions Translatebusiness needs into technical scope that supports successful solutioning and delivery ... You will thrive in this position if: Outstanding presentationskills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos Strong consultative sales experience serving as a customer-facing technical lead Broad range of experience within large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics and cloud technologies. For example, Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric Hands-onexpertisewith SQL, SQL analytics, and Python Ability to connect a customer’s specific business problems and Snowflake’s solutions Ability to do deep discovery of customer’s architecture framework and connect those with Snowflake Data Architecture University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred Experience working with Snowflake technology Experience with GSIs (EY, Deloitte, Accenture,etc), would be beneficial, but notrequired ...
