The General Manager reports directly to the board of directors of the EID and supports the Vision, Mission and Values of the EID. Responsibilities Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Financial Resources, Engineering/Operations, Human Resource Management, Facility Management, Land Management, OH&S, Information Services, EIDNet, and Corporate/Public Relations Strategic Planning and Implementation of Work Plans to achieve Approved Goals and Objectives Budget Preparation and Management: Ensure Effective Delivery of Services in the District Develop and Maintain Positive Working Relationships with Government, Irrigation, Agricultural, and Business Representatives Communicate with the EID Board, Employees, Customers, Contractors, Vendors, Government Representatives, Irrigation, Agricultural and Business Representatives, and the General Public.
