Job Description The Guideway Precast Facilities Coordinator will assist the Guideway Precast Facilities Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the precast facility. This role involves coordinating production schedules and ensuring that all precast components meet the required specifications and quality standards. The coordinator will also support project documentation, monitor progress, and enforce safety protocols. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the precast facility, including production scheduling, equipment maintenance, and inventory management. Ensure all precast components meet the required specifications and quality standards. Support and monitor sub-contracted crews in the guideway precast facilities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Prepare and present regular progress reports, including updates on timelines, budget status, and any issues encountered. Facilitate meetings to review progress and address any concerns. Ensure effective coordination between the precast and superstructure erection subcontractors ensuring timely site deliveries. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction. Participate in design workshops for precast segments optimization. Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs for retrofits. Enforce safety protocols and ensure the facility complies with all relevant health and safety regulations. Assist in developing and managing project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones. Perform other related duties as assigned, promoting a positive team environment and a culture of collaboration. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in precast concrete production or a similar manufacturing environment. Experience with subway projects, elevated guideway/ bridge assets is preferred. Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. A commitment to safety, environment and quality, with a strong attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit, with a focus on achieving project goals and enhancing team performance.
