Acuren’s Cambridge Materials Testing (CMTL) division is currently seeking a Lab Technical Coordinator to support operations within our Cambridge, Ontario laboratory. This role offers hands-on experience and ongoing learning in a dynamic industrial environment. This position will be based in our Cambridge facility Monday to Friday regular business hours Salary: CA$25.00 to $31.00/hr based on qualifications and experience Responsibilities Respond to and support customer inquiries through email, telephone, and in-… interaction in a professional and timely manner Interpret customer testing requirements and conduct research to ensure accurate service recommendations and solutions Prepare applicable documentation, log incoming test samples, and coordinate allocation to the appropriate laboratory departments Prepare accurate and customized customer quotations based on testing specifications and requirements Coordinate and prioritize workflow in collaboration with department supervisors to ensure efficient turnaround times and customer satisfaction Qualifications Education & Experience Related science or technology degree/diploma preferred, or a minimum of 2 years of related industry experience Experience working with and interpreting technical specifications (ASTM, ASME, AWS, CWB, CSA, ISO, etc.) considered an asset Experience preparing custom quotes based on technical specifications is also considered an asset Technical, Professional & Organizational Skills Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of materials testing considered an asset Strong computer, research, analytical, and communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with strong time-management skills Benefits Competitive total compensation package, including paid time off, employer-paid benefits, RRSP + Company match, tuition grants, discounted fitness memberships, insurance offerings, employee assistance programs and more.
