We are looking for an experienced Seafood Manager to join our growing team who is resourceful, detail-oriented, self-motivated leader eager to contribute to a culture that is all-inclusive, innovative, and focused on quality improvement. The Manager is responsible for the efficient and fiscally responsible operation of the department. The Manager will lead and manage staff to achieve the highest level of customer service, while adhering to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, corporate policies and Health and Safety, and other programs and initiatives. The Manager will also manage budgets, labor costs, inventory control, product presentation and merchandising. The Manager will coach, motivate and develop their team to foster customer loyalty, fulfil customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement. Responsibilities Provide support to the management of resource programming and implementation Source, evaluate and negotiate seafood requirements to secure optimal pricing, quality and delivery terms Collate, review and interpret Aquaculture industry information to provide clear guidance to the business and clients on future strategy Adhere to company certification procedures Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitor profitability, and manage inventory Separates, scans, and disposes of spoilage/shrink Provide exemplary customer service by greeting guests in the department or elsewhere in the store Maintain product mix, case merchandising, signage and convenience items Schedule Team Members and delegate work assignments Prepare, maintain and track records of inventories and work processes Monitor sales performance for future buying decisions Requirements Integrity & Accountability Sets high standards of performance for self- assuming responsibility and accountability for the successful completion of assignments or tasks Must accomplish tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small Work independently, be reliable, responsible, dependable Undergraduate degree or above preferred in business and/or food engineer More than 5 years working in seafood role and minimum 3 years required as manager #J-18808-Ljbffr
