Job Type: Full-Time Expected Commissions: $15,000 – Unlimited About Us At Vaultie, we’re at the forefront of digital trust. We help our law firms, banks, and governments build trust with their clients by linking their real-world attributes to digital credentials and integrating them into verifiable documents. We work with cutting-edge technologies like biometrics, ID verification, and encryption to empower customers to create universally trusted documents and credentials. Our documents can be verified anywhere in the world by anyone our clients choose, all while maintaining industry-leading privacy standards. We are a small but growing team that thrives on collaboration and innovation. We can verify more than 14,000 types of ID from more than 195 countries The Opportunity As part of the sales team at Vaultie, you’ll be the engine driving our growth. You’ll identify and connect with potential clients, manage inbound and outbound leads, and own the sales process from first contact to close. You’ll also collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success to ensure prospects experience Vaultie’s value every step of the way. We’re looking for a driven, ambitious, and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. This role is for someone who thrives on the chase — someone who loves turning a “no” into a “maybe” and a “maybe” into a “yes.” If you’re a hunter at heart who enjoys connecting with people, uncovering opportunities, and closing deals, you’ll feel right at home here. Key Responsibilities Find and create new opportunities: Proactively research and reach out to potential clients in the legal and identity verification sectors using cold calls, personalized emails, and LinkedIn outreach. Leverage marketing leads: Work closely with marketing support to follow up on inbound leads, qualify prospects, and nurture relationships until they’re ready to buy. Own the sales process: Take prospects from first contact to demo and through to close — serving as the main point of contact for all client inquiries during the sales cycle. Manage HubSpot like a pro: Keep your pipeline organized and up to date in HubSpot, tracking outreach, progress, and conversion metrics. Collaborate across teams: Partner with marketing support and the Product Manager to fine-tune messaging and outreach campaigns, and work with the Customer Success Manager to ensure smooth client onboarding. Represent Vaultie at conferences and events: Attend industry events to build relationships with potential clients and partners, and identify new opportunities for growth. Qualifications A natural communicator who’s confident, curious, and skilled at building rapport over phone, email, and video. Someone who’s motivated by targets, achievements, and helping clients solve real problems. A self-starter who takes initiative to find and close opportunities. Experience in B2B sales or business development Comfortable using HubSpot (or similar CRM) to manage leads and outreach. Bonus: Experience selling to lawyers, accountants, or compliance professionals, or working with digital trust or SaaS tools. Bilingual (English and French) is a huge plus. Personal Attributes A hunter mindset — driven, competitive, and persistent. Strong organization and follow-up skills. Eager to collaborate and share insights that strengthen the sales process. Excited by growth, challenge, and exceeding expectations. Thrives under pressure. Why You’ll Love Working Here You’ll be part of a small, agile, and collaborative team where your effort makes a real impact. You’ll have autonomy and room to grow — whether that’s into senior sales, account management, or leadership roles. You’ll play a key role in helping Vaultie expand beyond the legal sector into new, trust-driven markets. Competitive total rewards package, inclusive of health benefits and equity. Work in the heart of Downtown Toronto, with an exciting team. How to Apply If you’re hungry to drive results, love connecting with people, and want to build something meaningful, we want to hear from you. Don’t worry if you don’t check every single box — what matters most is your drive to exceed expectations and your ability to make things happen. Accessibility at Vaultie Vaultie is committed to providing an inclusive, accessible recruitment experience in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). If you require accommodations at any stage of the hiring process, please let us know, and we will work with you to meet your needs. Equal Opportunities at Vaultie Vaultie is committed to building a workplace that reflects our core value of trust, both in the technology we create and in the team behind it. We believe diverse perspectives make our solutions stronger and our culture more innovative. We do not discriminate based on race, colour, religion, sex (including pregnancy or parental status), gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, or any other aspect of one’s identity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
