Job Title Production Manager, CG Overview WildBrain Studios is looking for a Production Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Producer, you will assist in overseeing the production process, creating departmental schedules, and managing production crew members to keep the show running smoothly. The role requires strong organization, calm under pressure, and excellent communication to support a team of industry professionals producing high‑quality children’s content. Responsibilities Manage and organize all Production Departments and supervise the Production Coordinators for each Department Oversee the production’s progress, review reports, and flag any issues to the Producer Review all script and animatic notes, ensuring the team balances priorities and responds promptly Collaborate with the Producer and coordinators to create detailed plans and breakdowns of tasks, keeping the project on schedule Ensure all production work meets studio standards and is completed within established deadlines Maintain the Directors’ schedules Liaise with clients and partners Monitor crew attendance and manage vacation requests Maintain communication with out‑of‑house freelancers, ensuring timely delivery of assets Coordinate with HR on staffing needs and assist with execution of deal memos Communicate with IT and Studio Operations regarding required workstations and software for the production crew Keep a “finger on the pulse” of the production floor Work on other projects and tasks as required Qualifications 1+ year experience as a Production Manager on an animated feature and/or television series with strong knowledge of animation pipelines 4+ years experience coordinating production for animated features and/or television series Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Entertainment/Media) Strong abilities in organization, multi‑tasking, and prioritization Effective and professional communication skills Love for cartoons Nice to Have Experience overseeing and motivating a diverse crew Drive, determination, and creative problem‑solving skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Knowledge of Flow (formerly Shotgun/ShotGrid) is an asset Experience with animation software such as Adobe Flash/Animate, Autodesk Maya, or ToonBoom Harmony Union Position This is a Union position and the terms and conditions of employment are covered by a collective agreement. Compensation Pay range: $1430–1700 CAD per week based on a 40‑hour work week. Exact pay varies with level, responsibilities, and qualifications.
