Toronto · Full-Time · On-site · Equity: 0.5–1% · Base: $120K–$160KAbout the Company (Stealth) Why are 2 billion office workers not seeing a fraction of the productivity gains from AI that software engineers are? That's the problem we exist to solve.Today's productivity tools weren't built for AI. As a result, AI-generated work is often unreliable, hard to verify, and difficult to trust in professional settings. We're rebuilding the core productivity suite from the ground up with agents as first-class collaborators, designed to be deterministic, traceable, and trusted. We've raised our inaugural round, backed by top-tier US investors with a track record in backing unicorn product-led companies and are building our founding team to support the public launch. The Role We're looking for a Founding Product Engineer to work directly with the CEO on the core product experience. You'll own product areas end-to-end — from what the user sees to the data models and services underneath — and you'll have strong opinions about both. This is an early role with high ownership. You'll shape how the product feels, how data moves through it, and how it scales as we grow. What You'll DoOwn product areas vertically — from UI and interaction design through to APIs, database schemas, and backend servicesBuild responsive, polished front-ends that feel fast and are easy to trustDesign and implement data integrations that connect the product to the external world — imports, exports, sync, and third-party APIsWork closely with the CEO to translate product thinking into well-scoped, well-built featuresMake pragmatic decisions about architecture and data models that keep the product moving without creating drag laterContribute to the overall quality, reliability, and feel of the product as the user base growsWhat We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in product or full-stack engineering roles. You've shipped features users interact with daily and have strong instincts about what makes a product feel good. You're comfortable owning both the front-end experience and the systems behind it.You have experience in:Building responsive, component-driven front-endsDesigning and working with APIs and data integrationsOwning data models and backend services for product featuresShipping in fast-moving, early-stage environmentsWho You Are You have opinions about user experience and act on them. You notice when something feels off and fix it.You're comfortable owning a feature from end to end — you don't hand off at the API boundary and you don't ship something that looks good but breaks under the surface. You move quickly, make tradeoffs thoughtfully, and know the difference between polish that matters and polish that can wait. You'd enjoy working in-person with smart people on big, interesting problems.Former founders and early engineering hires encouraged to apply.#J-18808-Ljbffr
