The role requires redesigning procurement workflows, applying AI and automation, and guiding the organization toward an efficient, transparent, and scalable vendor lifecycle. Initially, you will focus on modernizing processes and systems; later, you will serve as subject‑matter expert and active member of the PVMO team. Responsibilities Process Mapping & System Design – Evaluate current procurement and vendor management workflows, identify bottlenecks, and design future‑state processes. Stakeholder Synthesis – Conduct interviews and workshops, translate complex feedback into actionable system solutions. Technology & AI Implementation – Deploy emerging AI tools (e.g., Gemini) and automation platforms to eliminate manual data entry, streamline approvals, and optimize vendor communication. Project Management – Build and track project plans, manage milestones and timelines, and deliver on schedule. Software Adoption & Integration – Rapidly learn, evaluate, and integrate new procurement software, acting as technical bridge between vendors and internal teams. Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to innovate and optimize PVMO workflows for improved service delivery. Team Support – Lead a team of Procurement & Vendor Management Analysts across vendor lifecycle stages, including purchasing, sourcing, negotiation, renewal, and off‑boarding. Contract Management – Collaborate with legal to negotiate and execute Master Service Agreements, EULAs, Statements of Work, and other contracts. Stakeholder Collaboration – Work with business units to understand product roadmaps and assess future vendor needs. Vendor Relationship Knowledge – Maintain deep understanding of QFG’s service offerings and vendor dependencies. Qualifications Proven business process planning, mapping, and system design experience, coupled with strong project management skills. Passion for automating workflows and comfort experimenting with AI solutions. Excellent organizational skills; experience managing multifaceted projects. Hands‑on experience with ClickUp is preferred. Ability to synthesize qualitative stakeholder data into quantitative, logical system rules. Strong analytical mind that spots edge cases, broken links, and process gaps. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex technical or process changes to non‑technical audiences. Prior experience in Procurement or Vendor Management within fintech, technology, or financial services is an asset. Familiarity with building no‑code/low‑code automations (e.g., Zapier) is an asset. Experience with third‑party risk management tools such as OneTrust is an asset. Strong knowledge of vendor risk, compliance, and performance metrics, especially in financial services compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace. Compensation Base salary range: $95,000 – $110,000 CAD. Final compensation package negotiated based on experience, skills, and geographic location. Includes comprehensive benefits and competitive incentive bonus for full‑time permanent roles.
