This role is field-based with hybrid flexibility and reports directly to the Senior MSL Manager. This position has a national scope. Responsibilities Build and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with oncology specialists and other healthcare professionals; communicate balanced, evidence-based information to support clinical decision making. Act as the field-based scientific expert for your territory, staying current with Hematology, treatment approaches and the evolving scientific landscape. Gather and report clinical and practice insights from the field to inform pipeline medical strategy, evidence generation and local operational plans. Support clinical development by identifying and qualifying potential investigators and clinical trial sites across Canada. Represent GSK at scientific meetings and congresses, supporting expert engagement, session coverage and knowledge sharing. Deliver scientific training to internal colleagues using approved materials and contribute to cross‑functional projects as required. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Advanced post‑graduate scientific degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD). Proven ability to explain and present complex scientific data clearly to clinical audiences. Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate cross‑functionally. Knowledge of the Canadian healthcare environment, including hospital systems and access pathways. Valid Canadian driver’s licence and ability to travel within the territory (up to 60–70 %). Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet objectives in a field‑based role. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison or similar medical affairs role, ideally in Hematology. Established network and relationships with oncology clinicians in Canada. Experience supporting clinical trials, investigator‑initiated studies, or real‑world evidence projects. Familiarity with Canadian reimbursement and access processes. Bilingual capability in English and French for bilingual territories. Strong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Salary CAD 129,000 to CAD 179,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
