About the Role The Implementation Consultant is responsible for the successful implementation of our most strategic clients and delivering Implementation as a Service, training, workshops, and education sessions during customer engagements. In addition to ensuring timely launch dates and high levels of customer satisfaction, this role will also take a leadership role in projects that bridge the divide between external stakeholders (the client), internal stakeholders (project team and other Spreedly business partners), and third‑party providers. The person who fills this role will help lead complex, multi‑layered global implementations for Fortune 500 clients, acting as a strategic consultant to enable Spreedly’s infrastructure in support of the client's long‑term digital transformation goals. The ideal candidate has a clear understanding of how the technology works, how systems integrate, project management, and the payments industry. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Product, Engineering, and Account Management) to drive high‑complexity implementations and meet aggressive enterprise go‑live dates. Own the end‑to‑end delivery process for implementations after contract signature, utilizing standardized project management methodologies to ensure technical accuracy, timely go‑live dates, and long‑term client success. Work closely with the customer, sales engineering and account management to understand customer requirements and manage expectations. Create comprehensive project plans, including critical milestones, dependencies, and aggressive enterprise go‑live dates. Develop and execute strategic communication plans and meeting agendas that align stakeholder objectives with project milestones, ensuring long‑term relationship health and project success. Maintain regular correspondence with project stakeholders to facilitate on‑going status updates, relationship management and proactive technical/functional guidance. Communicate relevant client feedback to Spreedly product management, engineering, operations, sales and marketing functions. Deliver regular reporting regarding implementation metrics across onboarding channels. Requirements 3+ years of customer‑facing implementation project management experience, including experience working with large enterprise clients on technology‑driven onboarding/implementation. Experience in the payments industry and/or working with payments technologies is a must. Strong fundamental understanding of APIs, SDKs, and how complex systems integrate. Ability to think and plan strategically, and to execute tactically. Expert level of organization and attention to detail and strong interpersonal communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to understand and translate complex technical detail across all project stakeholders with clarity. Strong customer service skills and commitment to meet or exceed customer expectations. Ability to travel as needed and required by the client and/or business (up to 10%).
