Key Duties & Responsibilities: Supervise and lead a team of janitorial staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures. Conduct regular site visits to inspect the quality of work and address any issues or concerns. Train new employees on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation. Provide coverage for relief shifts as needed, stepping in to perform janitorial / building manager duties and oversee operations when regular staff members are absent. Demonstrate flexibility by working in various locations and buildings as per company needs. Perform daily janitorial cleaning duties / building manager duties ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Monitor building operations and report maintenance issues as needed. Provide relief coverage for Building Manager duties during absences (vacation, sick leave, etc.). Oversee building operations during relief shifts, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day functionality. Coordinate with contractors, tenants, and management when acting as Building Manager. Conduct basic inspections and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards. Follow company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times. Requirements: Previous experience in janitorial or facilities management. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (candidate must have a vehicle). Willingness to work weekends in addition to Monday to Friday schedule. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work environments. Flexibility to work weekends and different shifts when needed. Benefits: Monthly gas allowance provided in accordance with CRA guidelines.
