Position Title AWS Developer Co‑op (Amazon Connect Focus) Location Greater Toronto Area (Hybrid) Term 4–8 months (aligned with academic co‑op schedules) Start Date Spring Term (May 2026) Position Overview (Co‑op Learning Focus) This co‑op position is designed to provide students with practical, real‑world experience in cloud development and contact center technologies using AWS. You will work under the guidance of experienced developers and mentors to contribute to active projects while developing technical, analytical, and professional skills aligned with your academic program. Key Responsibilities & Learning Outcomes Technical Development & Application Assist in building and configuring Amazon Connect contact flows and IVR systems Support integration with AWS services such as Lambda and DynamoDB Contribute to developing applications using Java or Node.js Learning Outcome: Gain hands‑on experience in cloud‑based application development and understand how enterprise systems are designed and deployed. Cloud Infrastructure & Tools Work with Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation or Terraform) Learn to deploy and manage cloud resources in AWS environments Apply foundational AWS security and best practices Learning Outcome: Develop practical skills in cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, and secure system design.
