Job DescriptionThe RAM Officer ensures the Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) of systems, equipment, and infrastructure in compliance with project and industry standards.The ideal candidate will conduct RAM analysis, develop improvement strategies, and work closely with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to enhance system performance and lifecycle efficiency. Responsibilities•Perform RAM analysis and modeling to evaluate system performance and identify improvement areas. •Develop and implement RAM strategies to enhance system reliability and minimize downtime. •Conduct failure mode, effects, and criticality analysis to assess potential risks. •Collaborate with engineering teams to define RAM requirements and specifications. •Ensure compliance with RAM industry standards. •Track and report key RAM metrics. •Support maintenance optimization by recommending preventive and predictive maintenance practices. •Work closely with safety and risk teams to ensure RAM integration with system safety assessments. •Use RAM software tools to analyze system reliability and availability. •Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, RAM documentation, and risk assessments. Qualifications•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Reliability Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. •3+ years of experience in RAM analysis, reliability engineering, or asset management. •Strong knowledge of RAM principles, methodologies, and industry best practices. •Experience with RAM software tools. •Familiarity with maintenance strategies, asset lifecycle management, and risk analysis. •Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. •Ability to work in cross-functional teams with engineers, project managers, and maintenance personnel.
