Job Title: Sales Specialist, CEW and VR Reporting to: Director of Sales, Canada Direct Reports: None Location: Remotely anywhere in Canada Travel expectations: approximately 50% Your Impact The Canadian Sales Specialist for CEW & VR is responsible for selling TASER and Virtual Reality training products and services to Municipal, Provincial and Federal agencies. This is a quota carrying, external field position. Your ability to articulate life‑saving solutions, build and maintain senior level relationships within the government, navigate across customer needs for training and implementations, are critical factors in success in this role. What You’ll Do Develop and Execute Account Strategies: Outline a sales strategy for key agencies and our Canadian distribution partner, initiating trials & evaluations and supporting the Canadian TASER Advisory Board members. Build and Maintain a Robust Sales Pipeline: Identify key opportunities and produce a verified pipeline for Municipal, Provincial & Federal (Public Safety agencies) and adjacent markets such as Corrections that is at least three times greater than the quota for the region. Learn the Axon Ecosystem: Gain a deep understanding of how each product and service helps customers be more effective in the field and articulate the value of the Axon product and services in a meaningful way. Increase Market Awareness: Assist in developing a marketing plan and key messaging for Provincial, Federal and Adjacent markets in Canada for growth and acquisition of TASERs. Manage and Oversee Proposal Responses: Lead strategy on RFP responses and ensure completeness and execution of RFP responses. Manage Customer Relationships: Cultivate relationships with executive and operational leaders within public safety agencies to ensure seamless customer experiences. Accurate CRM Management: Maintain complete status of opportunities in Salesforce.com in an accurate and timely manner, documenting opportunity statuses, close dates and next steps. Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with customer success, engineering, and program management teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and customers derive measurable value. What You’ll Bring Track Record of Success: Proven experience exceeding sales targets in a complex, consultative sales environment. Public Safety Sales Experience: Deep understanding of municipal procurement processes and public safety technology. Solution-Oriented Mindset: Ability to translate complex customer needs into innovative solutions. Technical Acumen: Familiarity with cloud computing, SaaS solutions and digital evidence management systems. Collaborative Leadership: Proven ability to work cross-functionally within an organization. Law Enforcement/Public Safety Knowledge: Experience working with law enforcement or public safety agencies. Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 50%. Bilingual: French and English is an asset. Desired Attributes Self-starter that enjoys working remotely. Experience training and increasing utilization of a suite of products or services. Responsible for own scheduling and territory management. Must be willing and able to travel up to and above 50% at times. Required to attend and successfully complete TASER Master Instructor School. Driven to exceed results in fast‑growing market. Experience with longer sales cycles to Government and following rigid procurement processes. Benefits and Compensation Base Pay Range: $105,000—$168,000 CAD. Compensation includes base pay, bonus, and stock awards.
