The role involves motivating and inspiring staff and students to achieve high standards, maintaining a respectful and orderly environment, and supporting literacy and numeracy development. Responsibilities Provide leadership and advocacy for teachers, students, and parents. Motivate and inspire educators and learners to high levels of achievement. Establish and maintain a respectful, orderly, and purposeful school environment. Support the overall development of literacy and numeracy for all students. Perform teaching duties as assigned based on qualifications. Assist with administrative tasks associated with the Vice‑Principal role. Qualifications Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate. Preference for candidates holding or pursuing a Master’s degree. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Experience in supporting literacy and numeracy initiatives is preferred. Ability to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check to PLSD before commencement.
