Senior Tax Staff – Global Compliance and Reporting Group Join EY’s Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) group, where you’ll work on corporate tax engagements, including compliance, accrual review, income tax provision calculations, and tax planning. You’ll collaborate with clients to implement tax strategies that support their business objectives. Key Responsibilities Provide quality, timely, and responsive services and work products to clients. Understand and discuss moderately complex tax issues with the engagement team and client management. Keep informed of current tax developments and apply tax knowledge to client situations. Accurately analyze information and prepare practical, effective approaches to client tax situations. Share tax planning ideas and help develop implementation plans. Participate in team goals and contribute to achieving them. Assist in making quality decisions in complex areas. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Accounting designation or master’s degree (preferred). Minimum 3 years of senior-level, corporate income tax experience in Canada or equivalent. Broad exposure to corporate income taxation. Proficiency in research and writing using electronic tax tools. Excellent managerial, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
