We conduct comprehensive due diligence during bidding and provide ongoing technical oversight throughout construction, including monitoring progress, budgets, schedules, and project risks. As Independent Certifiers and Engineers, we offer objective third‑party oversight for milestone verification, compliance, dispute resolution, and successful project completion. Senior Project Consultant (Toronto) What You Get To Learn And Do Work and assist on 2‑4 projects with regular supervision. Prepare pre‑bid and pre‑financial close technical advisory reports. Complete Realistic Outside Cost Analysis and Reasonable Downside Analysis. Attend and participate in multidisciplinary project kick‑off meetings for pre‑bid services. Attend and participate in lenders and rating agency calls. Complete site inspections and reports, including photographs, in support of construction period services. Work closely with senior team members to determine project changes. Prepare the technical components and fees for proposals. Provide coaching and guidance to junior level team members as designated, including introduction to site visits. Occasionally promote the business, cross‑sell, and build new contacts to enhance client relationships. What You'll Bring 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. University degree or equivalent in Construction Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field. Working toward or obtained a relevant professional qualification: PQS, MRICS, P. Eng, CPA, CFA, LEED AP. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Good analytical and interpersonal skills combined with sound judgment and initiative. Responsive to internal and external stakeholder requests. Self‑motivated with good organizational, communication and report‑writing skills. Ability to work in a team environment and to own initiatives. Demonstrates attention to detail to produce quality work with good time management. Hold a valid driver’s license. The typical hiring range for this Toronto role is $80,000‑$120,000 CAD per year. This represents base salary only, not total compensation, and BTY Group may offer more or less depending on a candidate’s experience and qualifications. Compensation takes into account education, training, experience, location, market factors, and internal alignment.
