Location: Oakville, OntarioStart Date: August 1, 2026Compensation: $35,000 – $40,000 annuallyTime Commitment: Approx. 20 hours per week (flexible during peak periods)Reports To: Board of Directors About Oakville Choir for Children & Youth Oakville Choir for Children & Youth (OC) is a multi-ensemble choral organization serving over 130 singers ages 4–18. Known for artistic excellence and youth development, OC is entering a growth phase with a goal of expanding to 200+ singers while strengthening financial sustainability and administrative systems. To support this growth, the Board is creating a part-time Executive Director role. The Opportunity The Executive Director is the senior operational leader, responsible for financial stewardship, fundraising, recruitment growth, and organizational oversight. Working closely with the Artistic Director and reporting to the Board, the Executive Director will build systems, revenue streams, and partnerships to support sustainable growth. This is a high-impact part-time leadership role with potential to expand. Key Responsibilities Organizational Leadership Implement strategic priorities approved by the Board Oversee administrative systems and vendor relationships Ensure compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency Supervise the General Manager and contractors Develop and manage the annual budget Monitor financial performance and reporting Maintain financial controls and compliance Oversee payment and financial processes Lead fundraising, sponsorship, and grant strategies Build donor and sponsor relationships Oversee revenue-generating initiatives such as camps and events Recruitment & Marketing Lead recruitment and enrolment growth strategies Build community and school partnerships Oversee marketing, communications, and brand visibility Governance Serve as liaison to the Board Prepare reports and support governance processes Maintain organizational accountability and timelines Qualifications Experience in nonprofit leadership, arts administration, or organizational management Strong financial and budgeting skills Fundraising, sponsorship, or grant‑writing experience Experience working with Boards of Directors Strong communication and leadership abilities Ability to work independently in a part-time leadership role Experience in youth or community arts organizations is an asset Application Process Submit: Resume Three references Only candidates selected for interview will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
