What is the Opportunity In this exciting position, you’ll have the chance to work as a Product Owner delegate & SME, to develop design, solutions, and data‑driven requirements on all key projects, enhancements, upgrades, and changes to Capital Measurement & Reporting Platforms. What will you do? Work alongside product owners to manage development of analysis, business understanding, solutioning, planning, prioritization, and implementation of key initiatives and projects related to Regulatory Capital Measurement & Reporting. Manage and prioritize external bank projects impacting Regulatory Capital data pipelines & infrastructure, including developing strong product knowledge of RBC’s complex product portfolio on the Asset side of the balance sheet (credit products). Actively seek to maintain engagement with key stakeholders on all major bank projects to establish the key point of contact for the Regulatory Capital team. Strong communication & engagement with various RBC departments and teams with the objective to seek new opportunities that would benefit the business objectives of the Regulatory Capital team. Collaborate & design solutions with IT partners while consolidating and addressing IT feedback to deliver business goals. Manage internal coordination of the Regulatory Capital group to ensure timely delivery of requirements, completion of UATs, and ensure completion of all E2E business activities under standard IT change management procedures. Utilize vision & foresight to guide key stakeholders through rapidly changing & dynamic environment allowing for smooth transition/pivoting when required. Key contributor in validation of IT work effort estimations, review of annual budget projections, vendor invoice management, and other cost management activities for Regulatory Capital applications. Build critical understanding of Capital domain in large banks and be a strong voice in the group to continuously drive business value. Must have 4+ years of experience in finance/accounting, data analytics, product ownership, or business analysis, preferably in similar banking domains with experience in product ownership, product enhancement deliveries, business domain development, planning, and solutions architecture roles. STEM (CSc, Eng, Math, Data Sci) or BBA/BComm or above in finance, accounting, economics or a related business field. Open to other educational backgrounds with relevant experience. Proficient knowledge of SQL, programming languages, AI/ML prompting & ability to understand underlying technology, and data platform modernization concepts & trends. Ability & confidence to engage, present, and take feedback directly from Senior Management on major initiatives & deliverables (inclusive of pitching new ideas & innovations). Understanding of business analytics, data mining, experimentation and measurement. Interest in learning and developing knowledge in finance/Capital domain in corporate banking. Organized & delivery‑oriented with ability to consolidate and summarize Capital Initiatives to manage and also work as an SME, business owner, at granular level to ensure E2E delivery. Nice to have Passion for building relations and ability to work as an SME to attain information to understand core objectives and play the primary role in ensuring smooth execution & delivery. Ability to guide multiple groups through complex domain and fluctuating environment. Strong team player with a track record of collaboration and experience working as part of an agile team. Strong drive and desire to understand relationships of organizational components. Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills. Highly detail‑oriented and comfortable with large‑scale delivery & initiatives across various functions. Ability to multi‑task and prioritize/complete projects in a timely manner.
