We’re on the hunt for a motivated and talented Engineering Student in our Industrialization department at our Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue office. This is a 4-month mandate (with a possibility of extending to 8 months) starting in September 2026. Role: The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Production Manager and will be embedded in a team of AI&T Engineers and Technologists. The engineering student in the Electronics Production and AI&T team participates in AI&T planning and improvement activities for the industrialization of printed circuit board products. Responsibilities: Coordinate manufacturing activities in our clean room laboratory for Microwave Integrated Circuits (MIC) by providing a liaison with the design group to improve production processes and printed circuit board (PCB) designs Participate in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews for new electronics products introduction or prototyping, including components and PCB footprints analysis Contribute to internal qualification campaigns aimed to provide data on the reliability of Printed Circuit Boards in space applications per NASA standards Define, publish, and maintain manufacturing process specifications (MPS), equipment operating procedures, and AI&T functional flows Creating or modifying engineering documentation, designing manufacturing tools, and tracking parts from inspection to assembly and test stations Required experience and skills: Must be working towards a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automated Production Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or Industrial Engineering with two (2) years completed Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment Good written and oral communication skills in French and English Interest in aerospace and appreciation for challenges related to the space environment Knowledge of manufacturing processes for PCBs (SMT, through-hole, and related processes) Propensity to take ownership of tasks and projects, be adaptable to a changing environment, and an aptitude for balancing analysis with the need to act Desirable skills: Automation capabilities using VBA, Python, SQL Altium Designer and/or Xpedition software experience CAD software experience Creative and innovative Comments/Special Considerations: Successful candidates must obtain and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
