Based in Canada with travel required.Role Summary The District Sales Manager drives growth within assigned markets by developing strong relationships with builders, distributors, general contractors, designers, architects, and multi‑family partners. This role leads the execution of strategic sales, margin, and market‑share initiatives while identifying new contract opportunities and expanding profitable product placement. Success requires strong business development skills, the ability to influence diverse stakeholders, and a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach. The position covers a defined geographic territory and requires extensive travel.Key ResponsibilitiesGrow sales, margin, and market share by developing and executing strategic business plans for assigned markets.Serve as the primary point of contact for builder, distributor, and influencer accounts, ensuring effective communication of Electrolux brand strategies.Convert leads to bids and bids to contracts by leveraging CRM/lead systems and understanding key builders across Single Family, Multi‑Family, and MRO segments.Conduct product training and merchandising support in showrooms to drive specification, floor placement, and contract opportunities.Support new product introductions by promoting offerings and ensuring proper display and product knowledge.Monitor competitive activity, inventory levels, and open orders, providing insights and recommending adjustments as needed.Facilitate execution of sales, marketing, and promotional initiatives, including participation in trade and industry events.Lead new builder/distributor account setup and support efficient processes for parts ordering, credits, and overall account operations.Minimum QualificationsPost Secondary Education.3+ years of sales experience, ideally within the appliance, builder, or related industry.Proven track record in merchandising, territory management, and closing sales in builder or contract markets.Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence diverse customer groups.High energy, self‑driven, and able to manage extensive travel within territory.Benefits HighlightsDiscounts on our award‑winning Electrolux products and services.Family‑friendly benefits.Insurance policy plan.Extensive learning opportunities and flexible career path.Additional Information We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position at this time.Find more on: Electrolux Group North America: Electrolux Group Careers: anticipated salary range/wage scale for candidates is $54,000.00 to $66,000.00 per year. Commission amounts vary based on performance, but the expected target earnings from commissions are approx. $36,000 to $44,000 per year, in addition to the base salary compensation.
