MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking aSalesforce Cloud Engineerfor a 6-month contract role with a client of ours located in Vancouver.ResponsibilitiesOwn and lead a medium-sized product domain within the Core Customer 360 platform, leveraging either out-of-the-box Salesforce configurations or custom development using programmatic design optionsBeing a subject matter expert of your specific product business domainHold a deep understanding of systems, enabling you to debug them effectively and efficiently without significant difficultyLeading and contributing to ongoing platform oversight by conducting security assessments, reviewing Salesforce release updatesDeveloping detailed technical documentation for current system components and lead initiatives to refactor and optimize areas of the product domain for improved performance and maintainabilityParticipate extensively in code reviews, and mentor others via code reviews and pair programmingContribute to the common code bases and define standards for the teamBe capable of owning technical design for projects of moderate complexity and understands the trade-offs in creating good solutions in their area.Require very little oversight beyond high-level direction; they can take a complex user story, break it down into sub-tasks, and complete their sub-tasks with relative ease.Show initiative beyond knocking tasks off a list; you can identify and suggest areas of future work for yourself or your team.Requirements8+ years of experience in developing solutions on Salesforce Service/Sales Cloud within Agile environments, demonstrating technical leadership and deep platform expertisePossess proven expertise in designing and implementing robust integrations between Salesforce applications and external systems using REST/SOAP/GraphQL API’s, with a focus on reliability, performance, and alignment with enterprise architecture standardsHighly proficient in developing complex, scalable features on the Salesforce platform using Flows, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and asynchronous processing in high volume Salesforce environmentsPossess deep Salesforce domain knowledge, and you effectively balance out-of-the-box capabilities and custom development to architect solutions tailored to complex business requirementsExpertise in leveraging Git, GitHub, and SFDX in VS Code to enable efficient version control, collaborative development, and CI/CD best practices in Salesforce environmentsStrong understanding of guest/customer identity models, including Contact, Person Account, Individual, and unified customer profile patterns(Nice-to-have) You possess hands-on implementation experience with Loyalty Cloud and are able to translate business requirements into scalable Loyalty Cloud solutions(Nice-to-have) You have experience integrating Loyalty Cloud with adjacent platforms such as Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud and middleware systemsEqual Opportunities MatchBox is committed to providing equal opportunities for all applicants.
