THE ROLE Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Operations, this role is responsible for enabling reliable, transparent delivery of the Digital Banking roadmap and major initiatives. The position focuses on bringing clarity to complex delivery environments by aligning priorities, resources, and cross‑functional partners through strong planning, coordination, and agile ways of working. The role emphasizes delivery through influence, continuous improvement, and clear communication to ensure stakeholders have confidence in timelines, progress, and outcomes. Ultimately, it supports on‑time delivery of high‑value digital initiatives and a more effective, transparent way of working across Digital Banking. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Roadmap Execution & Operational Ownership Own the end‑to‑end delivery of the Digital Banking roadmap and major initiatives, ensuring the highest priority work is delivered on time with clear visibility across the organization. Lead delivery of digital initiatives through influence rather than authority, building strong working relationships with cross‑functional delivery partners including Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, and Developers to drive alignment, resolve dependencies, and maintain momentum across initiative. Lead delivery and project planning across the Digital Banking roadmap to ensure alignment to business priorities, OKRs, and resource capacity. Maintain line of sight on resource planning, availability, and in‑flight solutions; proactively manage dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies. Draft and maintain integrated project plans (timelines, dependencies, resources) and ensure alignment across MS Project, Productboard, Azure DevOps, and resource planning tools. Own planning and reporting for supporting key strategic initiatives (“Big Rocks”). Ensure all work items, tickets, and technical plans are accurately mapped to releases and coordinated with Release Management Team. Call out release timelines that must be met and drive course corrections or pivots to protect delivery of the highest value work. Host regular delivery and status forums; provide clear summaries, timelines, and decisions to stakeholders. Produce and distribute consistent, up to date roadmap and delivery status communications. Product Enablement, Transparency & Ways of Working Own and maintain the Productboard ecosystem by keeping boards and integrations current, while managing the insights pipeline and closing the feedback loop to show delivered value. Drive adoption and effective use of Azure DevOps as the primary platform for work tracking, delivery visibility, and shared documentation across digital initiatives. Continuously experiment with approaches that improve transparency and clarity in how digital work is planned, tracked, and communicated. Support Digital Banking OKR planning and tracking, ensuring roadmap delivery aligns to agreed outcomes and priorities. Support the rollout of future delivery resource assignment models, contributing to improved planning efficiency and reduced delivery volatility. Agile Leadership, Coaching & Continuous Improvement Lead and facilitate Scrum‑based delivery using two‑week sprints, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement. Be a servant leader to teams and delivery partners on agile principles and effective execution. Facilitate project level ceremonies (ie. Sprint 0s, launches, reviews, retrospectives, etc.) for cross‑functional initiatives when needed. Drive continuous improvement through experimentation informed by sprint retrospectives, data, and outcomes. Share learnings and best practices across the Digital Delivery community to support broader agile transformation. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 2–5 years of experience in financial services or fintech environments (preferred). Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex requirements and deliver solutions. Proven experience managing projects or initiatives, balancing multiple priorities with attention to detail. A team‑oriented and innovative mindset, with a track record of introducing new ideas and improving ways of working. Certified ScrumMaster designation or strong working knowledge of Agile practices (preferred). Comfort learning and adopting new digital tools, with an openness to using AI‑enabled technology to enhance productivity, accuracy, and the Member experience. Salary Range: $68,800.00 to $103,200.00 CAD Office Location: Toronto Office - 3280 Bloor Street West, Centre Tower, 7th or St. Catherines Office - 75 Corporate Park Drive. This is a hybrid opportunity.
